How to Make Weed Gummies: The Ingredients
These gummies aren’t something you’ll be able to whip up with stuff you have in the house. You’ll need to head to your nearest superstore to get the ingredients, and maybe a craft store for a silicone mold.
- 1.5 oz flavored gelatin
- 1.25 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1/8 cup apple juice

Step 2: Mix It All Up
Get a large metal or glass bowl and put it on a kitchen scale. This is where high school chemistry comes in. Tare the scale and empty half (1.5 ounces) of the flavored gelatin packet in the bowl. Then pour 1 and 1/4 of the unflavored gelatin packet in as well.
Mix them together until well combined.
In a different bowl (yes, really) mix the 1/8 cup apple juice with 1/2 teaspoon honey. Whisk together until honey is incorporated and then pour into the gelatin mix.
Step 3: Heat it Up
Get out a pan (ideally one with a pour spout) and drip in the 3-4 drops hash oil. More is not better here – this is why you’re making a test batch!
Add your flavor extract right on top of the hash oil and then pour the gelatin/liquid mixture in and whisk gently. Cook it over medium heat until there’s no more powder (gelatin). Stir often!
Step 4: The Good Kind of Mold
Once all the gelatin has dissolved, pour the mixture into a measuring cup with a pour spout.
Make sure you’ve rinsed your mold, then place it on a cookie sheet. Pour the mixture into the mold as evenly as you can. Carefully transfer the cookie sheet with the mold to the refrigerator and let sit for 1-2 hours.
Step 5: Enjoy Cautiously
Like any edibles, you need to start slow. Hemp oil varies in quality and potency, so three to four drops may be more than enough. Start with two or three gummies, then wait two hours and see how you feel.
